Tarabband - Live at The Celebrating Our Diversity Festival

Tarabband’s concert at the 2021 Celebrating Our Diversity Festival presents the Malmö-based group’s distinctive meeting of Middle Eastern and European musical traditions. Led by the Iraqi-Egyptian singer and multi-instrumentalist Nadin Al Khalidi, the performance combines deeply personal storytelling with powerful ensemble playing. And the music moves between Arabic folk influences, world music, jazz-inflected passages and contemporary acoustic textures. Where Al Khalidi’s expressive vocals gives the concert its emotional center.
